West Chester went down 3-0 after doubles play, but fought to the end in singles matches. The Golden Rams almost made a miraculous comeback with
Charlie Rushing (Yardley, Pa. / Pennsbury), Tony Deimler (Lititz, Pa./ Warwick),
Lucas Von der Heyde (Exton, Pa. / Great Valley) and
Troy Donato Hockessin, Del. / Alex I. DuPont) conquering in four of the six singles matches.
