WEST CHESTER, Pa. – The Golden Rams fought hard, but couldn't quite clinch the win against visiting Kutztown on Sunday afternoon, dropping a 5-4 men's tennis decision on South Campus.
Jared Howat and
Tony Deimler teamed up for a win at first doubles, but the Golden Rams were down 2-1 heading into singles competition. Kutztown picked up the first three wins in singles, but West Chester fought back earning wins in the last three matches.
Deimler and
Troy Donato each picked up a win in singles where they both remain undefeated.
Lucas von der Hyde also finished with a singles win, but it wasn't enough to secure a victory over Kutztown.
The Golden Rams prepare to host Roberts Wesleyan College on April 6 at 3 p.m..
