TAMPA, Fla. - West Chester University picked up an 8-1 win over Daemen College Monday morning at the University of Tampa.
The Golden Rams (3-2) swept the doubles competition by scores of 8-6, 8-5 and 8-3. After Jared Howat dispatched his opponent at first singles, 6-4, 6-1, Tony Deimler clinched the match with a 7-5, 7-5 win at third singles.
Lucas von der Heyde, Troy Donato and Andrew Peterson each picked up wins at fourth, fifth and sixth singles. Howat and Deimler teamed up at first doubles, Lars Kristiansen and Charlie Rushing won at second doubles and von der Heyde and Ryan Keffer were winners at third doubles.
