BLOOMFIELD, N.J. – West Chester swept the doubles competition and then took four of six in singles to take a 7-2 decision from host Bloomfield College Wednesday afternoon on the road.

West Chester (7-8) registered the non-conference men's tennis victory, getting wins from No. 1 singles, and Nos. 4-6 singles as well. Jared Howatt and Tony Deimler, who teamed up for a win at first doubles, also tallied individual wins in singles play at first and the first and fourth spots, respectively.

Lucas von der Heyde was a winner at fifth singles. But, it was Troy Donato's straight-set win at sixth singles that proved to be the match-clincher.

Charlie Rushing and Lars Kristiansen teamed up for a win at second doubles while von der Heyde and Donato were winners at third doubles.

West Chester hosts West Liberty in a non-league match on Saturday, before closing out the regular season at Millersville.
