Box Score MILLERSVILLE, Pa. – Millersville scored two goals in the first half and added another in the second en route to a 3-0 shutout victory over visiting West Chester Tuesday afternoon at Pucillo Field.
West Chester (3-4-2, 2-3-0 PSAC) never recovered from giving up a goal in the first minute of the contest while Millersville (8-0-1, 6-0-0) remains undefeated in conference play and unbeaten overall.
Fifty-three seconds into the contest, the Marauders were leading when Ben Johnston headed a cross into the back of the net. Millersville's Jaime Vazquez headed one home in the 21st minute to double the hosts' lead. Jaxson Burns then finished off the scoring with 28 ticks left on the clock in the second half.
West Chester's Matt Palmer (Bangor, Pa./Bangor) made eight saves in goal.
West Chester steps out of conference on Saturday to host Concordia (N.Y.) at Rockwell Field at 2 p.m.
