Men's Basketball Outlasts Cheyney, 84-82

CHEYNEY, Pa. - Matt Wiseley (Emmaus, Pa./Emmaus) posted a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds while Matt Penecale (Jenkintown, Pa./Abington) scored a team-high 17 to lead visiting West Chester to an 84-82 victory over host Cheyney Wednesday evening.

West Chester (13-2, 9-2 PSAC) kept pace in the Eastern Division standings with the win over Cheyney (2-12, 1-10) by moving into a first-place tie with Kutztown. Both are 9-2 after 11 league matches.

Malik Jackson scored 13 points and Avery Brown added 11 for the Golden Rams.
