Victor Polyakov (Taganrog, Russia) was a double winner, but visiting West Chester did not have enough to get past host Penn in a non-league meet at Sheer Pool Friday night, dropping a 164-125 decision.

West Chester (8-2) won six events, but the Golden Rams still saw its six-meet win streak come to a close against the Division I Quakers.

Polyakov won the 500-yard freestyle in 4 minutes, 37.59 seconds and the 400 Individual Medley in 4:11.51. He placed second in the 200 free with a time of 1:39.53.

Michael Oliver (Howell, N.J./Freehold Twp.) was runner-up to Polyakov in the 400 IM while capturing first place in the 200 breaststroke in 2:03.13.
Luke Maguire (Conshohocken, Pa./LaSalle) won the 100 butterfly in a time of 50.97 seconds. Teammates
Philip Nawn (Media, Pa./Penncrest) and
Eric Long (Greensburg, Pa./Hempfield) were right behind Maguire. Maguire also led off the 200 free relay foursome that was a winner in a time of 1:25.39.

Dan Roy won the men's 3-meter springboard diving competition with a score of 317.40.
Tim Cenjia (Greensburg, Pa./Greater Latrobe) was second with a 240.68.

West Chester returns home to Graham Natatorium Saturday afternoon to make up its snowed out meet from last weekend against New York University. It is Senior Day at Graham Natatorium, and the Rams will honor their eight graduating seniors.
