CHEYNEY, Pa. – West Chester notched their second consecutive Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) victory with a 3-0 sweep over Cheyney University inside Cope Hall Tuesday night.
The Golden Rams (15-5, 3-4 PSAC) took the match by scores of 25-6, 25-7, and 25-8.
Sophomore outside hitter
Abbie Dischert (Wilmington, DE. / Concord) registered a team-high 13 kills in the victory.
Chipping in seven kills for the Golden Rams was fellow sophomore
Allie Duffy (Carlisle, Pa. / Carlisle).
West Chester's setter
Jillian Grammer (Center Valley, Pa. /Southern Lehigh) provided 24 assists in addition to six digs.
As the libero,
Nicki Yates (Coopersburg, Pa. /Southern Lehigh) managed 17 digs during the match.
The pair of
Emily Ahern (Downingtown, Pa. / Downingtown West) and
Callie Krajcir (Breinigsville, Pa. / Parkland) logged 7 digs as well.
West Chester attack was on full display with a .427 hitting percentage.
