Men's Tennis Falls To Chestnut Hill, 8-1

PHILADELPHIA – West Chester University's men's tennis squad dropped an 8-1 decision on the road at Chestnut Hill College Wednesday afternoon.
 
West Chester (0-1) dropped its first dual match of the season.
 
The third doubles team consisting of Keanu Travelino (Kailua, Hawai'i/West Hawai'I Explorations Academy) and Joey Graziadei (Royersford, Pa.) were 8-6 winners to pick up the Golden Rams' lone point in the match.
 
Norman Patten (Warminster, Pa./Council Rock South) and Tony Deimler (Lititz, Pa./Warwick) dropped a close 9-7 match at first doubles. Meanwhile, Lucas Von der Heyde (Exton, Pa./Great Valley) dropped a three-set match at second singles as well.
 
The men's squad will head to Bloomsburg this weekend for the PSAC Individual Championships, which were rained out last weekend.
