BLOOMSBURG, Pa. - West Chester University's men's tennis squad dropped a 5-0 decision to Edinboro in the semifinal round of the 2016 PSAC Men's Tennis Championships Friday afternoon on the campus of Bloomsburg University.
West Chester (5-15) dropped the first five decisions in matches that finished play. Edinboro (21-3), ranked second in the Atlantic Region, swept the doubles play to take a 3-0 lead. The Golden Rams then dropped the first two singles matches that finished, and play was stopped per playoff rules.
West Chester's season comes to a close with the loss while Edinboro advances to the PSAC Championship Match Saturday.
