Ryan Keffer (York, Pa./Central York) teamed up for a win at third doubles, and
Keanu Travelino (Kailua Kona, Hawaii/West Hawaii Explorations Academy) was a winner at sixth singles, but visiting Mercyhurst was too much in a 7-2 PSAC men's tennis match Friday afternoon.
West Chester (4-10, 1-2 PSAC) fell behind 2-1 in the doubles competition and could not recover. Mercyhurst claimed the first five singles matches, before Travelino came away with a win for the Golden Rams.
West Chester hosts Edinboro on Sunday in another PSAC crossover match.
