WEST CHESTER, Pa. – LIU-Post banged in a rebound off a penalty corner with 6:52 left in overtime to earn a 4-3 non-league field hockey win at Vonnie Gros Field Thursday afternoon.

West Chester (6-5), ranked fifth in the latest Longstreth/NFHCA Division II Coaches' Poll, had evened the score with just under four minutes remaining in regulation to force the overtime session. LIU-Post (8-2), ranked just ahead of the Golden Rams at No. 4, registered three of its four tallies off of penalty corners.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- West Chester jumped out in front early on a reverse chip from
Caitie McNamara (Buderim, Australia) five minutes into the game.
- LIU-Post evened things five minutes later when Arantxa Rosainz Caloca blasted a shot past Marissa Elizardo (North Wales, Pa./North Penn).
- Kaitlin Hatch (Sewell, N.J./Washington Twp.) tallied her ninth goal of the season when she poked in a rebound off a shot from Rachal Toppi (Glassboro, N.J./Glassboro) just after halftime.
- LIU-Post then scored consecutive tallies from Emily Miller to take a 3-2 lead with 10 minutes to play. It was Miller's 17th and 18th goals on the season.
