WEST CHESTER, Pa. -Â West Chester University dropped another tough one against visiting Shippensburg, falling, 80-56, in a PSAC East matchup inside Hollinger Field House Wednesday evening.

West Chester (9-14, 9-10 PSAC) fell behind early, trailing 27-10 after the first quarter. The Golden Rams had trouble firing from all cylinders as head coach Kiera Wooden's squad shot 34.4 percent from the field (21-for-61) and 37.5 percent from behind the 3-point arc (6-for-16).

Three Golden Rams found themselves in double figures for the evening. Junior
Camden Boehner (Gettysburg, Pa./Gettysburg) contributed a team-high 13 points while fellow junior
Porscha Speller (Lancaster, Pa./Lancaster Catholic) added 11. Senior forward
Tori Smick (Pilesgrove, N.J./Woodstown) also earned 11 points for West Chester.

Shippensburg's (21-5, 16-4) Colleen Young, produced a game high 20 points for the Raiders as well as five assist and a steal. Meanwhile, Morgan Griffith produced a double-double, earning 17 points to go with 13 rebounds. Stephanie Knauer also found herself in double figures as she scored 12 points. The Raiders found themselves shooting at 48.3 percent from the field (29-for-60), and 50 percent from behind the arc (8-for-16).

West Chester hits the road on Saturday for a PSAC East matchup at Lock Haven inside Thomas Field House. Tip off is set for 2 p.m.
