ST. PETERSBURG, Fl. – West Chester's men's tennis team fell to host Eckerd college, 8-1, Sunday morning.
West Chester (0-5, 0-2 PSAC), picked up a win in its second singles match.
Senior
Lucas Von der Heyde (Exton, Pa. / Great Valley) won the first sets 6-2, but slipped in the second 4-6 against Eckerd's Eddie Lewis. However, he regained control of the match solidifying the third set 10-8.
Eckerd college swept the Golden Rams in the doubles.
West Chester returns to action tomorrow as they travel to St. Augustine, Florida to face Flagler College at 10 a.m.
