WEST CHESTER, Pa. -
Norman Patten (Warminster, Pa./Council Rock South),
Charlie Rushing (Yardley, Pa./Pennsbury) and
Lucas Von der Heyde (Exton, Pa./ Great Valley) found victories throughout singles play. However, Bloomburg University prevailed, 6-3, in a PSAC east men's tennis match Sunday afternoon.
West Chester (1-10, 0-4 PSAC) struggled during the doubles matches, but managed to split the singles sets. Patten won at first singles, 6-2, 6-3. Rushing also won the second singles match 7-6 (3), 6-4. Fellow senior Von der Heyde followed up with a victory at third singles, 6-3, 7-6.
West Chester will be on the road as they take on St. Thomas Aquinas College on Wednesday at 4 P.M.
