SHIPPENSBURG, Pa.- The West Chester University women's soccer team (10-3-1, 9-3-1 PSAC) took to the road on Wednesday night to take on PSAC rival Shippensburg (6-8-1, 5-8-1 PSAC) in a game with major postseason implications. West Chester used a late header goal from

- Madison Baxter (Downingtown, Pa./Downingtown East) added to the lead a few minutes later off an assist from Linzi Wolfe (Quakertown, Pa./Quakertown), which gave West Chester a commanding 2-0 lead.
- However, this lead did not last as Shippensburg stormed back as Allie Christman scored a pair of goals in the 22nd and 29th minutes to tie the score at 2-2.
- In the 76th minute, Bail registered the decisive goal heading home a cross from Dani Cady (Yardley, Pa./Pennsbury) to give West Chester a 3-2 lead late in the contest. Shippensburg threatened over the course of the next 14 minutes of play but thanks to strong Golden Ram defense the Raiders were unable to register the equalizer.
