KUTZTOWN, Pa.
- West Chester University hits the road for the third straight week when the Golden Rams head to Kutztown University for a PSAC East clash with the Golden Bears Saturday afternoon inside Andre Reed Stadium at 12 p.m.

Saturday's meeting marks the 64th encounter all-time between the two programs and the 59th consecutive year in which the two rivals have butted heads on the gridiron dating back to 1960. Saturday's tilt is a "Clash of the Titans" in the Eastern Division as both teams enter the contest undefeated and nationally ranked. It is the first time that both programs are nationally ranked when facing off against one another. Additionally, Saturday marks the first time that both schools are undefeated heading into their matchup, unless you count 1994 when the Kutztown-West Chester game was the season opener for both schools. West Chester enters its game with Kutztown undefeated for the eighth time in the 64 meetings in the all-time series (minimum of four games played to that point in the season). West Chester remained unbeaten in the previoius seven encounters. Of those previous seven tilts, only in 2014 did Kutztown bring a winning record into the contest (3-2). Kutztown is ranked second in the first NCAA Super Region 1 poll that came out on Monday while West Chester is ranked sixth. Seven teams qualify for the NCAA II Playoffs out of Super Region 1. The Golden Bears have already downed a nationally ranked opponent in Assumption in Week 1 of the 2018 campaign.
