BLOOMSBURG, Pa. –
Dylan North (Airville, Pa./Red Lion) won the 1000-yard freestyle and placed second in a pair of other races as West Chester won five of the 11 events in a dual meet at Bloomsburg Friday evening. The Golden Rams topped the Huskies, 115-90.
West Chester (3-2) picked up a first-place showing in the 200 medley relay, and held onto that lead throughout with a big dual meet win.
Kohle Kerchner (Reading, Pa./Muhlenberg) won the 100 backstroke while
Logan Brockway (York, Pa./Dallastown) won the 200 individual medley and placed second in the 100 butterfly. He also led off the 200 medley relay that won the first event of the night.
How it Happened
- West Chester claimed the top two spots in four events.
- West Chester swept the top three spots in the 500 free.
- Joao Pedro Barreto (Niteroi, Brazil) won the 100 butterfly and was second in the 50 free. He was also on the 200 medley relay that won.
- Keir Uhlin (Lititz, Pa./Warwick) won the 500 free. North was second and Collin Pettit (Havertown, Pa./Haverford) was third.
