WEST CHESTER, Pa.- The West Chester University men's tennis team was back on the court this afternoon against Chestnut Hill. West Chester battled throughout the match but Chestnut Hill managed to come away with a 7-0 victory over the Golden Rams.
How it Happened:
- Chestnut Hill got out to an early 1-0 lead by virtue of sweeping doubles to take the one double point. Chestnut Hill used this early lead to roll to the victory as the Griffins took the four singles spots that they needed to pick up the 7-0 victory.
- At first doubles, the duo of Chris Succi (Yardley, Pa./Pennsbury) and Devin Paulison (Milford, Pa./Delaware Valley) fell 6-2 to the Chestnut Hill duo of Tom Pitchley and Erik Jorsal. The second doubles pairing of Adam Courtemanche (Greenville, R.I./Smithfield) and Aidan Henken (Harrisburg, Pa./Central Dauphin) had a similar fate falling to Antonie and Jesus Darias 6-0. Kai Adler and Adam Gavin from Chestnut Hill also captured third doubles defeating the combination of Noah Decampo (Littlestown, Pa./Littlestown High School) and Gavin Kenny (Hanover, Pa./South Western).
- In first singles, Succi fell to Pitchley 6-0, 6-1 while Paulison dropped second singles 6-0, 6-1 to Darias to give the Griffins the victory. Courtemanche dropped third singles to Gautier in straight sets 6-0, 6-1 while Henken lost fourth singles to 6-0, 6-1 to Jorsal. Kenny fell in his match against Adler by a 6-0, 6-1Â in the fifth singles spot while Decampo fell 6-1, 6-0 to Gavin to end the match.

This was West Chester's final match of the fall season meaning that the Golden Rams will not be back in action until March 9th when the squad travels to Webber with that match beginning at 11 a.m.
