A.J. Long Named PSAC East Offensive Player of the Week

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - Fresh off an MVP performance in the PSAC Championship Game, West Chester University R-Jr., QB A.J. Long (Bethlehem, Pa./Friendship Christian [Tenn.]) was named the conference's athlete of the week Monday morning.

Long led West Chester to its first outright conference crown in 47 years in a 33-10 victory over Slippery Rock on the road. Long accounted for four touchdowns and did not throw an interception in the win. He finished 13-for-21 for 153 yards and three TDs. He also ran for 135 yards and another score.

West Chester hosts New Haven in the first round of the NCAA II Playoffs on Saturday at 1 p.m. inside John A. Farrell Stadium.
