Andrew Cheggia (Kennett Square, Pa./Unionville) earned PSAC East Special Teams Athlete of the Week Honors this as announced by the organization on Monday morning.
Chegia nailed a pair of field goals and converted all six of his extra-point attempts in West Chester's 48-14 victory over Lock Haven on Homecoming Saturday. Chegia finished with 12 points in the win. He made field goals of 36 and 24 yards in the first half.
West Chester (9-0, 6-0 PSAC East), No. 9 in the AFCA Poll and No. 3 in the Super Region 1 Rankings, travels to Slippery Rock on Saturday afternoon to compete in the PSAC Championship game with that game scheduled to kickoff at 1 p.m.
