GREENSBURG, Pa. – The West Chester University men's basketball team continued its western tilt on Wednesday evening, as the Golden Rams made the trip to the Katherine Mabis McKenna Center to square off against Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West representative Seton Hill. Coming off a close loss at No. 3 IUP last night, the Golden Rams bounced back on Wednesday night with a convincing 92-61 victory in Greensburg.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- A layup by Tim Toro (SCRANTON, PA./ABINGTON HEIGHTS) off an assist by Jackson Hyland (AVONDALE, PA./KENNETT) got West Chester on the board first, and the visitors never looked back.
- Leading 10-6, the Golden Rams used four triples to spark an 18-0 run that lasted for nearly five minutes to put the Golden Rams in front 28-6 with just under 12 to play in the opener.
- WCU maintained its 20-plus point lead for the duration of the first half, and eventually extended the cushion to as many as 31 points (53-22) following a dunk by Terrence Moore (PHILADELPHIA, PA./AUDRIEND) with 19 seconds left on the clock.
- The Golden Rams kept the pedal down in the second half, keeping the lead above 25 for the entirety of the stanza. WCU's largest lead of the night came at the 2:43 mark, as a layup by freshman Kyle Thompson (PHILADELPHIA, PA. ST./JOSEPH'S PREP) put the visitors in front by 36 (90-54) in the waning moments of the contest.
WEST CHESTER RUNDOWN
- The Golden Rams shot season-highs from the floor (58%) and from beyond the arc (55%) on Wednesday night, with WCU's percentage from deep standing as the highest total since the squad shot a .579 clip against Mansfield in January 2017.
- West Chester held a sizable 34-12 advantage in bench scoring on the night and converted 17 points off of turnovers compared to just five by their opponents.
- Hyland's team-high 18 points led five Golden Rams in double figures on Wednesday, while fellow senior Matt Penecale (JENKINTOWN, PA. ABINGTON) added 15 points and a season-high eight rebounds in the victory.
- The sophomore tandem of Evan-Eric Longino (FURLONG, PA./GERMANTOWN ACADEMY) (12) and Moore (14) both added double-digits off the bench for the Golden Rams, leading to the +22 advantage in bench scoring on the night.
GRIFFIN FACTS
- The home team connected on 31% (18-of-58) of their shots from the floor and managed to convert on just three of their 22 shot (13%) from beyond the arc in the loss.
- SHU's Milenko Predic led all scorers with 22 points in the loss and Nathan Davis notched a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds in a team-high 35 minutes played.
