SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa.- Looking to extend its winning streak to four, the West Chester University men's basketball team (5-4, 2-1 PSAC) took to the road to face off against PSAC West foe Slippery Rock (3-5, 1-1 PSAC). West Chester led for the majority of the contest, but a late Slippery Rock run was too much to overcome in the 78-64 loss.

How it Happened:
- After a first half that was filled with runs for each team, the visiting Golden Rams held a narrow 39-31 advantage heading to the second half.
- After halftime, West Chester maintained a slim lead for much of the early going of the second half to maintain a lead until after the under 12 media timeout.
- Following this timeout, Slippery Rock went on a game-changing 32-16 run, which allowed the Rock to pick up the 78-64 victory.
Golden Ram Rundown:
- Malik Jackson (Lansdowne, Pa./Penn Wood) and Jackson Hyland (Avondale, Pa./Kennett) each scored 17 points to lead the Golden Rams. Frank Rokins (Plainfield, N.J./St. Mary's) registered 14 points of his own as the final Golden Ram in double-figures.
- Tim Toro (Scranton, Pa./Abington Heights) led the Golden Rams in rebounding with 11 rebounds, however, this performance was not enough to prevent West Chester from being out rebounded by a 45-41 margin.
- As a team, West Chester shot 34.9 % (22-of-63) from the field while shooting 21.7 % (5-of-23) from deep. West Chester also shot just 71.4 % (15-of-21) from the charity stripe in the loss.
For the Rock:
- Micah Till had a huge afternoon as he registered a double-double scoring 25 points while also pulling down 14 rebounds for the Rock. Teammates Jared Armstrong and John Warren II joined Till in double-figures scoring 19 and 10 points, respectively.
- As a team, the Rock shot 37.9 % (25-for-66) from the field while also shooting 27.8 % (10-for-36) from deep. Slippery Rock was also almost perfect from the line ending the game shooting 85.7 % (18-of-21) from the charity stripe in the victory.
- The Rock ended the game with a commanding 25-8 advantage in points off the bench as well as a strong 19-15 advantage in second-chance points.
