WEST CHESTER, Pa. – Joao Pedro Barreto (Niteroi, Brazil) set the pool record in the 200-yard butterfly while registering two individual wins and playing a role on three relay wins to lead West Chester University to a sweep of its Golden Rams Classic tri-meet on Saturday.

West Chester collected 1,139 points to Ursinus' 493 and Albright's 287 in picking up the victory. Barreto won both the 100 and 200 fly while swimming on the 200 medley relay, 800 free relay and 400 medley relay teams that all picked up wins. Barreto's time of 1 minute, 49.47 seconds in the 200 fly is a new record for the Graham Natatorium.

Jarod Anderson (Newville, Pa./Big Spring),
Kohle Kerchner (Reading, Pa./Muhlenburg),
Pijus Mackevicius (Kaunas, Lithuania) and
Dylan North (Airville, Pa./Red Lion) were all double winners as well.

Additionally, West Chester's men captured the top three spots in six of the events contested on Saturday.

The men hit the pool again on Jan. 26 when the Golden Rams host UPenn at noon on Senior Day.
