LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - For the second week in a row, a West Chester football player walked away with Pennslvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division Special Teams athlete of the week honors. Sr., P
Brendan Paulison (Milford, Pa./Delaware Valley) won the honor one week after So., PK
Andrew Chegia took home the award in Week 1 of the season.
Paulison averaged 46.7 yards on seven punts, including a career-long 67-yarder, to keep visiting Gannon pinned back in its end all afternoon while West Chester cruised to a 31-7 victory at John A. Farrell Stadium Saturday. Paulison landed two inside the opponent's 20-yard line, and Gannon was unable to cross midfield following Paulison's first five boots on the day. Paulison also kicked off six times and averaged 57 yards per kick. He did not have any touchbacks.
No. 18 West Chester (2-0) travels to Seton Hill on Saturday for another non-league tilt.
