Kaitlin Hatch (Sewell, N.J./Washington Twp.) scored both goals, including a penalty stroke in the second half, to lead fourth-ranked West Chester University to a 2-1 non-league field hockey victory over fifth-ranked Millersville Wednesday evening inside Biemesderfer Stadium.

West Chester (3-1) picked up its first win over Millersville (2-1) on the road since their encounter in the NCAA Tournament in 2015 while handing the Marauders their first defeat of the 2018 campaign.

Emily Evans (Newark, Del./St. Mark's) assisted Hatch's game-tying goal in the first half and then created the penalty stroke opportunity with a shot off a Millersville players' foot for the only goal of the second half with 10 minutes left to play.
