WEST CHESTER, Pa. - West Chester University completes a two-game homestand Saturday by hosting PSAC Eastern Division rival Shippensburg. Today's game is Coaches To Cure MD and Unite for HER day at Farrell Stadium. Both worthy causes are supported by the University and the athletics department.

Saturday's meeting is the 41st meeting between the two division rivals - though Shippensburg has only been on the Eastern side of the conference since 2008. West Chester holds a commanding 28-11-1 all-time record against Shippensburg in the series and has won the last three meetings, including two on the road last season.

Today's game is a rematch of last season's NCAA II Playoff first round contest played in a driving rain storm at Seth Grove Stadium last November. West Chester won the contest 27-6 with A.J. Long throwing a pair of TD passes and Paul Dooley tossing another of his own, despite the very wet conditions.

West Chester brings an unblemished 4-0 mark into Farrell Stadium following a 42-16 win over Millersville at home in the conference opener for both schools. The Golden Rams raced out to a 28-0 lead by the end of the first quarter and never looked back against an out-manned Marauders squad, but a squad that never gave up nonetheless.

Shippensburg is playing its second consecutive road contest to open the conference portion of its schedule. The Red Raiders lost to Bloomsburg last Saturday, 28-24. Charles Headen caught a pair of TD passes, and the Red Raiders mounted a fourth-quarter comeback bid that fell just short.
