Box Score WEST CHESTER, Pa. - West Chester University made great strides this fall despite falling to a 2-2 record with a 6-1 home loss to Jefferson University on Tuesday.
The Golden Rams nearly took the doubles point in the match. Freshman
Andre Zequeira (Humacao, P.R. / The Palmas Academy) and sophomore
Chris Succi (Yardley, Pa. / Pennsbury) won first doubles, 7-5.
Senior Adam Courtemanche (Greenville, R.I. / Smithfield) and sophomore
Noah DeCampo (Littlestown, Pa. / Littlestown) nearly sealed the point for the Golden Rams but suffered a tough 7-5 loss.
West Chester continues to see production from its younger players as freshman
Christoph Baroudi (Gambrills, Md. / Arundel) had a convincing 6-4, 6-0 win in the No. 6 singles position.
WCU won't compete again until the spring when it travels to Florida and begins its trip March 7 with a match in Babson Park against Webber International University.
