WEST CHESTER, Pa. - West Chester University women's volleyball took a 3-0 loss against Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Southeast Division opponent Millersville University on Tuesday night at Hollinger Field House.

 The Golden Rams are 13-8 overall but 1-7 in PSAC matches this season.
How it happened:

- Senior Rachel Robb (Blackwood, Pa. / Paul VI) recorded the first kill of the match, but Millersville responded with 11 unanswered points. The Golden Rams never gained momentum, losing 25-11.
- West Chester let the second set slip away as a kill from Robb made it 18-14 before the Golden Rams went on to lose 27-25.
- WCU kept the third set close for the most part as sophomores Logan Shuttleworth (Lewes, Del. / Henlopen) and Olivia Rudjord (Fogelsville, Pa. / Allentown Central Catholic) produced a block to make the score 14-13. However, the Marauders scored six of the next seven points and ultimately won 25-18.Â

- Shuttleworth was all over the court, picking up 23 assists and nine digs in the defeat.
- Graduate student Shaye Whiteman (Gettysburg, Pa. / Gettysburg) and freshman Mel June (Morton, Pa. / Ridley) had 10 digs apiece.
- Freshman Hailey Lewis (Downingtown, Pa. / Downingtown West) had seven kills to lead the team with a .208 hitting percentage.Â
