SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va.- West Chester University women's soccer (9-3, 7-3 PSAC) beat Shepherd University on the road, 3-1, Saturday afternoon. This was West Chester's first trip to Shepherdstown since Shepherd joined the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference this season.

- In the 16th minute, senior Madison Baxter (Downingtown, Pa./Downingtown East) scored the first goal for the Golden Rams.
- By 32:57, Baxter had two goals, and the Golden Rams led 2-0.
- Not even a minute later, junior Hannah Zach (Doylestown, Pa./Central Bucks East) scored to stretch the lead to 3-0.
- In the 85th minute, Shepherd's Sara Hohn scored her team's first goal on a penalty kick.Â
