BLOOMSBURG, Pa. - West Chester University men's tennis competed at the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Individual Championships on Saturday.
Freshman
Andre Zequeira (Humaco, P.R. / The Palmas Academy) competed in the singles and doubles tournaments. He put up a fight in singles but lost 6-3, 6-2 to a Mercyhurst opponent. He paired with sophomore
Chris Succi (Yardley, Pa. / Pennsbury) in doubles, and the fell 8-3 against a Lakers team.
Senior Adam Courtemanche (Greenville, R.I. / Smithfield) competed in single as well and lost to an Edinboro athlete.
The West Chester men will compete again on Wednesday at home against Saint Thomas Aquinas College at 2 p.m.
