BLOOMSBURG, Pa. - The No. 18 West Chester University Golden Rams' men's soccer team was defeated by Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference East Division rival Bloomsburg University, 2-0, on Wednesday.
Following the loss, West Chester owns a 7-2-1 record (4-1-1 in conference) and remains atop the conference standings. Bloomsburg jumps to 4-6-0 overall and 3-2-0 in league play.
How it Happened:
- The Huskies jumped out to an early lead, scoring a goal in the fourth minute.
- West Chester tallied nine shots (three on goal) in the first half, but could not connect for a goal.
- The score would remain 1-0 until the 85th minute, when Bloomsburg scored its second goal of the day.

- The Golden Rams are now 3-5-2 in their last 10Â matches against Bloomsburg.
- Today's match was the first time this season that West Chester has been shutout. Bloomsburg also handed West Chester its first PSAC loss of the season.
