WEST CHESTER, Pa. - West Chester University's football squad hosts Kutztown University Saturday afternoon at 12:06 p.m. inside John A. Farrell Stadium. The football game is the centerpiece for four home athletic events. For fans traveling to any of the four athletic contests Saturday afternoon, they should expect delays and plan to arrive early.
All parking in and around Farrell Stadium for the football game are pay lots. Spectators will have to pay $10 per car to park. Parking lots open at 9 a.m. Parking will be at a premium, please plan to carpool, or ride-share to cut down on traffic. Tailgating is allowed in Lower Q Lot. The school's tailgating policy is located on the school's web site on the football page, but can be found
HERE as well. Gates to Farrell Stadium will open 90 minutes before game time (10:30 a.m.).
Saturday's football game is being presented by Barnaby's of America. Tickets to Saturday's football game can by purchased online and printed at home by visiting
The WCU Box Office. Tickets are $12 for reserved bench seating, $10 for general admission and $7 for children, or senior citizens. WCU students with a valid ID will be admitted free.
Saturday's football game will also be streamed by PA SportsFever TV on ESPN3 as well as West Chester University's Facebook page. If you cannot make it to Farrell Stadium, or South Campus, on Saturday, a listing of where you can watch the West Chester-Kutztown game is below. The women's volleyball team will host Bloomsburg inside Hollinger Fieldhouse beginning at 1 p.m. That contest will be web streamed on West Chester University's official athletics page: www.wcupagoldenrams.com. The women's rugby team hosts Whitehorse Women's Club team on the Rugby Pitch on South Campus at 11 a.m. That match will also be web streamed on the Golden Rams' official athletics web site. Finally, the No.1-ranked field hockey squad hosts Mansfield on Senior Day at 4 p.m. from Vonnie Gros Field. Sports Fan Base Network (SFBN) will be bringing you the web stream with a link on the Golden Rams' web page for that as well.
As always, the football game will be broadcast over the radio waves by WCHE 1520 AM with Joe Vasile calling all the action and James Jackson on color commentary.
