Brett Miller (Washington Crossing, Pa. / Council Rock North) recorded one goal and one assist to lead West Chester men's soccer over East Stroudsburg University, 2-0, in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Quarterfinals on Tuesday afternoon at Rockwell Field.
How it happened:
- Junior Doug Goitia (Mount Pocono, Pa. / Pocono Mountain East) got on the board quickly for West Chester as he redirected a free kick from Miller to give West Chester the lead. | WCU 1-0
- West Chester maintained the 1-0 lead into halftime, leading East Stroudsburg in shots, 5-3.
- The score remained 1-0 into the 67th minute when Miller hooked a corner kick off of the goalkeeper's hand and into the back of the net, bolstering West Chester's lead. | WCU 2-0
