Edinboro Edges West Chester, 1-0, In PSAC Semifinals

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. - The West Chester University women's soccer team (11-6-2, 9-4-2 PSAC) battled Edinboro University in the PSAC Semifinals on Friday afternoon and lost 1-0 after the Fighting Scots scored an early goal.

How It Happened:

• Within the first five minutes of the game, the Fighting Scots put one on the board to take the lead.
• West Chester's Olivia Muha (Pittsburgh, Pa./Montour) and Jesse Magee (Bucks County, Pa./Council Rock South) each had two shots on goal in the game.

Inside the Numbers:

• The Golden Rams outshot the Fighting Scots 14-5 and had eight shots on goal while Edinboro only totaled three.
• West Chester was given five corner kick opportunities throughout the game.
• Hayley McGee (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Cumberland) was in net for the Golden Rams and picked up two saves during the game.
