Tara Morrissey (Downingtown, Pa./Bishop Shanahan) added five points to lead No. 8 West Chester to a 19-6 victory over visiting Shippensburg on a sunny afternoon at Vonnie Gros Field Wednesday.
West Chester (10-2, 6-1 PSAC) ran its win streak in the series against Shippensburg (4-7, 2-5) to 34 straight, dating back to 1995. Head coach

Barnett scored four goals and assisted on three others while Morrissey scored twice and added another three helpers in the win.
Ryan McKinney (Downingtown, Pa./Downingtown West) also recorded a hat trick in the win.
Tatum Altman (North Brunswick, N.J./North Brunswick) added four points (1 goal, 3 assists) while
Alex Wendig (West Chester, Pa./Bishop Shanahan) scored a goal and assisted on a pair of others.
Maggie Stella (Doylestown, Pa./Central Bucks East) scored twice and assisted on another as well.
Julianne Clemens (Springfield, Pa./Springfield-DELCO) played the first 45 minutes to pick up her 10th win of the season.
Nicole Martins (Souderton, Pa./Saucon Valley) played the final 15 minutes in the cage.
West Chester takes on Edinboro Saturday at Vonnie Gros Field. It will be Senior Day for the Golden Rams, who will honor their graduating class before the game.
