MILLERSVILLE, Pa. - The No. 17-ranked West Chester men's soccer team couldn't connect in overtime as they tied Millersville on Saturday. The Golden Rams and Marauders share the lead in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference's East Division with 2-0-1 conference records.

How it happened:
- Just under two minutes into the match, West Chester junior Doug Goitia (Mount Pocono, PA / Pocono Mountain East) scored a goal off of a pass from fellow junior Stephen Thompson (Mechanicsburg, PA / Cumberland Valley), giving the Golden Rams a 1-0 lead.
- The Marauders tied it in the 38th minute as Jake Gosselin scored on an assist from Mike Kreider.
- Millersville took the lead in the 50th minute to kick off the second half. Frank Astarita scored for Millersville, assisted by Matteo Adiletta.
- The Golden Rams were quick to respond, as five minutes later, Thompson scored after a Daniel Grindrod (Neshaminy / Feasterville, PA) pass, tying the game 2-2.
- West Chester and Millersville combined for eight shots the rest of the second half, but none would connect, forcing overtime play.
- West Chester managed to get off one shot in both periods of overtime.
