MILLERSVILLE, Pa. - The West Chester University women's soccer team took to the road on Saturday afternoon to take on PSAC contender Millersville. The Marauders used a late second half goal to slide by past the Golden Rams, 2-1.
West Chester (6-1-0, 5-1-0 PSAC) came into the game unbeaten and ranked sixth in the country in the latest United Soceer Coaches poll. However, Millersville (7-0-0, 6-0-0 PSAC) scored the upset to remain undefeated on the season and take the early lead in the overall league standings.

How It Happened:
- West Chester was able to attack early with a goal in the 10th minute from Katie Crouthamel (Quakertown, Pa./Quakertown).
- Minutes before halftime, Millersville's Michelle Belcher was able to score on the Golden Rams with an assist from Kay Liebl.
- With 10 minutes left in regulation, Millersville capitalized on an offensive opportunity and scored the game-winner from Savannah Rennix
Inside the Numbers:
- West Chester was able to hold a 6-3 advantage against Millersville on shots on goal for the game. But, it was not enough to overcome the Marauders on the road.
