WEST CHESTER, PA— Coming into today's re-scheduled matchup against Lock Haven University due to COVID-19, the Golden Rams seemed on a complete roll. Lock Haven and West Chester seemed on even footing through one half, as both teams were even on shots and saves going into the second half of play.
Lock Haven managed to sneak one past GK
Daniel Good (Jr // Downingtown East), which put the Bald Eagles ahead of the Golden Rams at the 63
rd minute of play. However, shortly after that goal, West Chester answered with a fantastic goal by
Tommy Bodenschatz (Freshman // Spring-Ford HS), quieting the Bald Eagles advance late in the second half. The Golden Rams' offensive onslaught continued, as the Golden Rams outshot the Bald Eagles in the second half 13-5. Unfortunately, Lock Haven continued to defend hard, and managed to push the ball through the West Chester defense to get a goal in the final minute of regulation play. The Golden Rams fell to the Bald Eagles at Rockwell Field, 2-1. West Chester has a lot to be proud of after this game, but they must look forward to facing their next opponent, East Stroudsburg University.
