Jackson Taylor (Glenside, Pa./Abington) was named honorable mention All-America by
Don Hansen FB Gazette it was announced Monday morning by that organization. It is the first All-America recognition for Taylor by
Don Hansen FB Gazette.
Taylor led the Golden Rams and the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Eastern Division in tackles with 98 stops on the year. The PSAC East Defensive Player of the Year was also a first team All-PSAC East selection and the PSAC East Defensive Player of the Week on September 20. He ranked fifth in the PSAC overall in tackles and 27th in the country. His 10.5 tackles for a loss ranked 12th in the PSAC, and his 3.5 sacks ranked 23rd in the PSAC overall. Taylor led WCU in QB hurries with four.
West Chester finished the 2021 campaign with a 6-5 overall record and in third place in the PSAC East standings.
