WEST CHESTER, Pa. - West Chester University's football squad hosts Bentley University Friday night at 6 p.m. inside John A. Farrell Stadium. The football game is the season opener for the Golden Rams. For fans traveling to either the football game, or the season opening field hockey contest, expect delays and plan to arrive early.
All parking in and around Farrell Stadium are pay lots. Spectators will have to pay $10 per car to park. Parking lots open at 3 p.m. Parking will be at a premium, please plan to carpool, or ride-share to cut down on traffic. Tailgating is allowed in Lower Q Lot. Tickets to Friday's football game can by purchased online and printed at home by visitingÂ
The WCU Box Office. Tickets are $12 for reserved bench seating, $10 for general admission and $7 for children, or senior citizens. WCU students with a valid ID will be admitted free. Online purchasing is strongly encouraged to avoid long lines at the ticket windows and will call windows.
No printed game programs will be sold at West Chester University football games this season. The digital program can be accessed via the Digital Game Program link above.
Friday's football game will also be streamed live by Sports Fan Base Network (SFBN)Â and can be seen on the PSACÂ Network. The nationally ranked field hockey squad also hosts Assumption College at Vonnie Gros Field on South Campus at 6 p.m. That match will also be web streamed on the PSAC Network.
As always, the football game will be broadcast over the radio waves by WCHEÂ 95.3 FM and 1520 AM with Mike Samsel calling all the action and Mike Materacky on color commentary. Chris Markowitz will be on the sideline.
