The 2022 schedule features six home games for the Golden Rams, including a Friday night clash with non-league foe Bentley to begin the season on September 2 at 6 p.m. Following this contest, West Chester remains home on September 10 to welcome longtime PSAC West rival and reigning PSAC West Champion Slippery Rock to town for a 12 p.m. kick, before opening PSAC East play against rival Millersville on Sept. 24 at 12 p.m. on what will also be Family Day for the Golden Rams.
As the calendar turns to October, West Chester will host three more marquee matchups inside John A. Farrell Stadium as Shippensburg comes to South Campus for a Homecoming tilt on October 8 beginning at 2 p.m., before Shepherd, who advanced to the national semifinals a year ago, visits Farrell Stadium for a 12 p.m. kick on October 22. West Chester will conclude its home slate on October 29 vs Lock Haven with that contest also set to begin at 12 p.m.
Single-game prices for general admission are set at $10 for adults and $7 students/seniors while ticket prices for reserved seats start at $12. West Chester students with current, valid ID are admitted free of charge to all regular-season home games for seating in the general admission areas of the stadium.
The Golden Rams six home-game slate are the most games the Purple and Gold have played in front of the home crowd since the 2019 season after appearing at home five times a year ago and not playing in 2020 due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. Dating back to the 2017 season, West Chester has proved to be a difficult test inside Farrell Stadium, playing to a record of 16-6 over the course of 22 home games and the Golden Rams have not finished the year with a sub .500 home record since the 2011 campaign.
