Fox opened the scoring for West Chester in the 33rd minute as a part of dominant first-half effort, which saw West Chester end the opening stanza with a 26-0 advantage in shots, carrying a 1-0 lead into the halftime break.

West Chester continued to show its offensive firepower in the second half, scoring a goal just over 30 seconds into the half when Emily Deluisi (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Ryan) scored off an assist from reigning PSAC East Athlete of the Week Faith Matter (Middletown, Pa./Middletown), thus, extending the lead to 2-0 early in the second half.

West Chester continued to apply steady pressure to the Mountaineers defense throughout the balance of the half, which eventually led to the third and final goal of the contest as Jaqueline Hug (West Chester, Pa./Unionville) found her way onto the end of a punt from PSAC East Defensive Player of the Week Hayley McGee (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Cumberland Valley), which allowed West Chester to extend its lead to 3-0 with just over 20 minutes to play in regulation.

West Chester continued to outshoot Mansfield in the second half, taking 12 shots to the Mounties six, ending the contest with a 38-6 advantage in shots and a 13-4 lead in shots on goal while also ending the game with a 6-4 advantage in corner kicks.

In addition to her second-half assist, McGee also made three saves over the course of 73 minutes of action before exiting in favor of fellow senior Audrey Schweizerhof (Perkasie, Pa./Dock Mennonite) who played the final 16:43 in goal and made one save to help West Chester preserve its shutout.
