In the 60th minute, Goldey-Beacom threatened to even the score but the shot from Cameron Michalak rang the far post and continued out of bounds to give West Chester a deep throw.
West Chester extended its lead in the 61st minute when Taylor found his way into the goal column for the first time his Golden Ram career as well off an assist from Jason Goldfeder (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Cedar Cliff) to put West Chester ahead 2-0 over the Lightning.
