WASHINGTON, DC - West Chester University's men's tennis squad opened the spring portion of its schedule with a match that came right down to the final singles match left on the courts. However, the Golden Rams eventually fell to the Firebirds, 4-3,.
West Chester's
Aiden Cashin (Mount Laurel, N.J./Lenape) and UDC's Juan Estevez Hernanadez put on a spectacular show at fourth singles. Cashin took the first set in a tie-breaker, 7-6(4), just to see Hernandez battle back with a pair of wins in the second and third sets, 6-4 and 6-3.
