WEST CHESTER, Pa.- Playing in its second match of the afternoon, the West Chester women's tennis team (9-7, 7-0) returned to action on Saturday afternoon to conclude PSAC East play vs Lock Haven. The two sides played a clinch and West Chester captured the first four singles matches to earn a 4-0 victory over the visiting Bald Eagles.
West Chester, the PSAC East Regular Season Champions, completed an unbeaten run through league play to capture its fifth PSAC East Title since 2015 and its first since the 2019 season.
As Eastern Division Champions, West Chester also earns a bye through the quarterfinal round of the championships advancing to the semifinal round once again next Saturday afternoon at Bloomsburg.
