LOCK HAVEN, Pa.- The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) released its men's track and field weekly awards and grad student
Ralph Casper (York, Pa./York Suburban) was named Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week.
Casper continued his outstanding 2022-23 season on Saturday afternoon at the Bill Butler Invitational, winning the shot put with a mark of 63 feet 5 ½ inches (19.34 meters). This effort not only improved upon his PSAC and NCAA Mark from earlier this season which he had set with a school-record breaking performance (breaking a record which had stood since 1987) but also stands as the second best mark in all of Division II and would be 16
th best in Division I.
