MEET RESULTS
WEST CHESTER, PA – West Chester University's men's swimming and diving program swept a tri-meet against Lehigh and Bloomsburg Saturday afternoon inside Graham Natatorium.

West Chester topped Lehigh by a score of 159-81 while downing Bloomsburg by the measure of 190-45. Along the way, the Golden Rams took first place in 10 of 13 events to help the team to victory.

Boden Burkhart (Walnutport, Pa./Northampton) was a double-winner in the diving events up at North Campus Pool inside Hollinger Field House. He took first place in both the 1-meter and 3m springboard competition. He posted 251.10 points off the 1m board and 239.10 off the 3m board. Freshmen
Dominick Horning (Williamsport, Pa./Loyalsock) and
Michael Finlaw (Warrington, Pa./Central Bucks South) were second and third behind Burkhart on both boards. Horning was second off the 1m with 174.3 points while placing third off the 3m with 157.95. Finlaw was runner-up off the 3m board with 163.95 points and third off the 1m with 173.10.

In the pool, grad student
Nolan Benner (Green Lane, Pa./Boyertown) won the 100-yard freestyle while also helping both relays to first-place showings. Benner won the 100 free in 46.65 seconds.
Devin Metzger (Macungie, Pa./Emmaus) won the 50 free while finishing runner-up to Benner in the 100. He also played a role on the 200 free relay that was a winner.

Paul Demesy (Saint Ulrich, France) won the 1650 free for the Golden Rams.
Danny Dunigan (Lansdale, Pa./North Penn) won the 500 free (4:41.46) as West Chester dominated the distance events once again. Demesy was runner-up to Dunigan in the 500 free (4:42.74).

Joel Dunnigan (York, Pa./Dallastown) won the 200 backstroke in a time of 1:55.89. Meanwhile both the 200 free relay and the 400 medley relay were winners. Dunnigan swam a leg of the 200 free relay as well.

West Chester will be back in action Nov. 21-23 when the Golden Rams travel to Gambier, Ohio and Kenyon University for the Total Performance Invitational.
