West Chester returns to action after falling at Jefferson on Wednesday night by a 7-0 final.
Mateus DeVasconcellos and
Andres Urrutia both put up an excellent fight at sixth and second singles, falling by 6-4, 6-4, and 7-5, 6-2 finals, while
Sam Robertson and DeVasconcellos nearly escaped with a victory in doubles, falling by a 7-6 (7-5) final in their third doubles match.

Previewing STAC
Today will be STAC's first match of the year after the Spartans ended last season ranked third in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) East Regional poll with a record of 14-7 overall and a mark of 4-2 in East play after advancing to its fifth straight Conference final. The Spartans also ended last season with the top-ranked doubles pairing in the East region in Ondrej Sramek and Ludovico Turfelli, along with Don Vinz Lominoque and Nathan Yacar, who were ranked 10
th in doubles. In singles play, Lominoque ended the year ranked eighth, while Turffelli ranked 10th and Seth Newman ranked 15
th. Sramek, Lominoque, and Yacar all return to the Sparatans this year as two of nine returners from a year ago.
