ORLANDO, FL - West Chester University's women's tennis team dropped its final match of Spring Break at the USTA National Campus by a 5-2 margin to Morgan State.
Gabriella Lerario dos Santos (Sao Paulo, Brazil) won her match at sixth singles in a three-set tie-breaker, 10-4.
Yuno Oe (Yokahama, Japan) won at third singles when her opponent, Hannah Smith, retired due to injury. The doubles team of
Delaney Tingle (Charlotte, N.C./Palm Desert) and
Tori Alexander (Norristown, Pa./Spring-Ford) won their first doubles match, 6-2. However, Morgan State rallied to take the other two doubles matches and win the doubles point.
